Overview

The K2 Base Camp trek is one of the most legendary trekking adventures in the world. No other route compares to the thrill and grandeur of walking along the mighty Baltoro Glacier, leading to Concordia, the most iconic viewpoint in the Karakoram.

At Concordia, trekkers are surrounded by a breathtaking 360° panorama of towering peaks, including the majestic K2 (8,611 m) and Broad Peak (8,051 m), along with countless 7,000 m and 6,000 m peaks rising dramatically in every direction. Along the way from Askole, the trek unfolds stunning views of Paiyu Peak, the spectacular Trango Towers, GIV and the famous K1 (Masherbrum).

Gondogoro La Pass – The Ultimate Adventure

For those seeking an even greater challenge, the trek can be extended via the Gondogoro La Pass (5,585 m)—one of the world’s most renowned high mountain passes. This short but demanding crossing provides an exhilarating alternative to returning the same way.

From the top of Gondogoro La, trekkers are rewarded with unmatched views of four 8,000 m giants:

K2 (8,611 m)

Broad Peak (8,051 m)

Gasherbrum I (8,080 m)

Gasherbrum II (8,035 m)

The sweeping scenery here is considered one of the finest mountain panoramas anywhere on earth.

Optional Extension – Gasherbrum Base Camp

For those who want to make their journey even more remarkable, we offer an optional Gasherbrum Base Camp trek.

Extra duration: 2 days

In this extension, trekkers venture from Concordia to the Gasherbrum Base Camp via the Abruzzi Glacier, enjoying awe-inspiring views of Gasherbrum I & II and the stunning Chogholisa Peak (7,665 m). From there, the route rejoins the upper Baltoro Glacier, crossing to the Vigne Glacier and continuing to Ali Camp, the base for Gondogoro La crossing.

Day 01  
Reception at Islamabad Airport- Transfer to hotel- Stay and dine at hotel-
(Hotel check in   time - 12:00 PM

Day 02  
Flight to Skardu on the same day stay and Dine in Skardu, In case of flight cancellation, we will travel by road through Naran Babusar Route or KKH- Stay and Dine in Chilas

Day 03  
Rest and Preparation Day in Skardu – Stay and Dine at Hotel in Skardu

Day 04  
Travel- Skardu to Askole-  7 Hours traveling from Skardu to Askole- Stay and dine in Camping

Day 05  
Trek- Askoli  to Jhulla Camp- This is the first day of trek-   5- 8 hours trek

Day 06
Trek-  Jhulla to Pajiu Camp-  5- 8 hours trek

Day 07
Rest/ Halt Day at Pajiu camp in order to get acclimatized- Feel free to explore Pajiu and Surrounding- This camp refers as the night club of Baltoro where usually Balti porters arrange musical night

Day 08  
Pajiu to Khobursty Camp- 5- 6 hours- The first day of walking on the Baltoro Glaicer

Day 09
Trek Khobursty to Urdokas Camp. Urdoaks is more beautiful campsite of Baltoro route. A green campsite having an amazing view of Trango range

Day 10  
Trek Urdokas to Ghoro II- This is our first night on Glaicer,  don’t forget to sunset and sunrise photography of Mashaburm and Ghasherbrum 4

Day 11
Trek- Ghoro II to Concordia – The dream destination, View an amazing View of K2, Broad Peak !

Day 12
Rest day at Concordia

Day 13  
Trek K2 base camp- Full day excursion and back to Concordia

Day 14  
Goodbye K2- Back Trek- Concordia to Urdokas  (Same route )
Back trek- Concordia to Ali Camp- Ghandoghoro La route

Trek-  Urdokas to Pajiu Camp – Same Route

Food & Beverage
Hotel’s Food
In Islamabad, bed and breakfast come together. Generally, we offer all lunches and dinners in our full board package, however, since there are lots of cuisine choices in the capital, we better feel facilitate our guests, and leave them free where they want to go and eat.  Other than Islamabad, our package covers all breakfast, lunch and dinners accordingly.

Food on Trek
All meals will be prepared and served by our staff as per the availability and storage with a true quality and hygiene standard. Our meals menu would be combination of Pakistani, continental and Chinese cuisines. Just to mention some ingredients are Rice, Chicken, Pasta, nodules, tan foods, Flour s and variety of daals (Lentil).

Beverages 
We provide soft drinks and mineral water at all hotels and restaurants while doing lunch and dinner. During trek only boiled water will be provided. Don’t forget to fill-up your water bottles in the morning and evening.

Logistic Equipment
Mess Tent - Kitchen Tent- Dome Tents during trek- Twin/ 3 Sharing -. Tents always come with mattress, All Kitchen Utensil and Cracory- Table and Chairs.

Human Resources/ Crews
Porters for all food, equipment and logistic material (each porter carries 25KGs).
Personal Luggage during trek- (12 KGs)- Porters Sirdar - Guide - Cook - Guide, Porters and staff insurance as per the govt rule.

The rest of the payment will collect upon arrival either at Islamabad or Skardu
Trip cancelation can be done only through email.
Advance payment is non refundable unless in visa rejection. The expenses already will have occurred in ground arrangements such as purchasing domestic flight tickets and trekking permit
In case of visa rejection, please write us within 60 hours of your visa rejection with complete proof and detail. In this case we can do full refund if not occurred the expenses otherwise the only remaining balance will be refunded
No refund at all if the trip is canceled before 10 days of the trip due to any reason
